What is the composition of aluminum veneer?
- Aluminum alloy: The aluminium veneer is on the basis of 1 series and 3 series.It’s mainly made of 1100 series or 3003 series aluminum alloy plates, which process bending, welding, reinforcing ribs and riveted angles.
- Surface coating: Because we generally install veneer outdoor, so we common adopt PVDF coatings to roll the surface of veneer. And mill finish is for indoor decoration.
- Thickness: The outdoor aluminum veneer’s thickness is about 2.0mm, 2.5mm or 3mm. Just for interior decoration or ceiling. The thickness of indoor veneer is thinner than outdoor aluminum veneer.Outdoor alu veneer is 0mm or 1.5mm thickness.
Aluminum veneer and aluminum composite panel
The aluminum composite panel is composed of multiple layers of materials. The upper and lower layers of aluminium composite panels are high-purity aluminum alloy panels and the middle is a non-toxic and low-density PE core panel.
