What should be paid attention to when storing embossed aluminum coils?
1. If the embossed aluminum coil is placed in a wooden box, then we must ensure that the humidity of the wooden box is less than 18%, and the temperature of the aluminum coil cannot be higher than 45°C.
2. If there is rain or snow leakage in the warehouse, the embossed aluminum coil should not be placed, as it is easy to oxidize it.
3. Wrap the embossed aluminum coil with plastic film. If conditions permit, it’s best to place it in a place with a desiccant. This can absorb the moisture in the air, thus avoiding the problem of oxidation.
4. If it suddenly changes from a low-temperature area to a high-temperature area during placement, then we should not open the package immediately, because it’s easy to oxidize. We should wait until the aluminum coil is suitable for unpacking, so that there will be no oxidation.
Precautions during transportation of embossed aluminum coils
The embossed aluminum coil itself has the characteristics of anti-corrosion, but if it’s accidentally exposed to rain during the transportation process, the surface will also be corroded. Thus affecting the appearance of the whole use process. Therefore, during transportation, it must be moisture-proof and rain-proof. Anti-corrosion liquids cannot be mixed with moisture, oil products, chemical raw materials and other materials to avoid partial or corrosion, and the aluminum plate or aluminum material will be scrapped.
Attention
The loss of embossed aluminum coil and aluminum sheet during transportation is nothing more than the following points: scratches, bruises, water ingress and oxidation. Unreasonable loading is the main cause of losses. Therefore, when the aluminum plate is loaded:
First, it must be stable, and should not be placed on top of other goods, but placed under the compartment.
Second, the aluminum plates can be stacked in layers, but it should not be too high, and it is better not to exceed 3-4 layers.
Third, other goods in the compartment should be reinforced to avoid bumping the aluminum plate during driving.
Finally, the aluminum plate should be covered with a waterproof cloth to avoid the loss of the aluminum plate due to weather such as rain and snow.
