1000 series aluminum 

1000 series: pure aluminum series with more than 99% aluminum, such as: 1050, 1100. The 1000 series is soft, mainly used for decorative parts or interior parts. The purity can reach more than 99.00%. The minimum aluminum content of this series according to the last two digits. For example, the last two numerals of the 1050 series are 50, it must reach more than 99.5% to be qualified products. It has good formability and surface treatment, and its corrosion resistance is the best among aluminum alloys. Its strength is lower, and the higher the purity, the lower the strength.

2000 series aluminum

2000 series: aluminum-copper alloy series, such as: 2014. It is characterized by high hardness, but poor corrosion resistance, among which the original content of copper is the highest. The copper content of the 2000 series aluminum plate is about 3-5%. It belongs to aviation aluminum and is used as a structural material, which is not often used in conventional industries.

3000 series aluminum

3000 series: aluminum-manganese alloy series, such as: 3003. Manganese is the main component, and the content is between 1.0-1.5. It is a series with good anti-rust function. Commonly used as tanks and tanks for liquid products, construction parts, construction tools, various lighting components, and various pressure vessels and pipes for sheet processing. Form-ability, weld-ability, and corrosion resistance are all good.

4000 series aluminum

4000 series: aluminum-silicon alloy series, such as: 4032. Usually the silicon content is between 4.5-6.0%, the higher the silicon content, the higher the strength. Good flow, less solidification shrinkage, it belongs to building materials, mechanical parts, forging materials, welding materials; low melting point, good corrosion resistance, heat resistance and wear resistance.

5000 series aluminum

5000 series: aluminum-magnesium alloy series, such as: 5052. The magnesium content is between 3-5%, which can also be called aluminum-magnesium alloy. The main features are low density, high tensile strength and high elongation. Under the same area, the weight of aluminum-magnesium alloy is lower than that of other series, and it is also widely used in conventional industries. 5052 is the most commonly used alloy in mobile phones, which is the most representative alloy with medium strength.

It has good corrosion resistance, weld-ability and form-ability, especially high fatigue strength and good seawater resistance. It is often used for products with high strength requirements. . However, its coloring effect is not ideal, it is suitable for sand blasting process, not suitable for chemical sand blasting, fog surface, etc., mainly using casting molding method, not suitable for extrusion molding.

6000 series aluminum

6000 series: aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloy series, such as: 6061, 6063. Mainly containing magnesium and silicon, 6061, which combines the advantages of 4000 series and 5000 series, is a cold-treated aluminum forging product suitable for applications with high corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. Good workability, easy to coat, and good workability. 6063 is the most familiar to people in the door and window industry, because the door and window profiles are basically 6063 aluminum alloys. 6061 and 6063 are more used in mobile phones, of which 6061 has a higher strength than 6063. Using casting molding, it can cast more complicated structures, and can be used as parts with buckles, such as battery covers.

7000 series aluminum

7000 series: aluminum-zinc alloy series, such as: 7001. It mainly contains zinc element, which also belongs to the aviation series. It is an aluminum-magnesium-zinc-copper alloy, a heat-treatable alloy, and a super-hard aluminum alloy with good wear resistance.

8000 series aluminum

8000 series: indicates an alloy system other than the above. It is more commonly used as aluminum foil.
